Warranty

 

Lava Cable warrants all cables for lifetime from when purchased, and it will repair or at its discretion, or replace without charge any cable that proves to be defective in materials or workmanship. Retain sales slip from place of purchase or receipt from Lava Cable to initiate warranty service.

Warranty does not cover defects that are the result of an accident, misuse, and contact with solvent chemicals or malfunction caused by other audio equipment. This warranty excludes all incidental or consequential damages. Certain states prohibit the exclusion or limitation of consequential damages so the above limitation may not apply in some cases.

To obtain Warranty Service: Send a copy of your sales slip or receipt from Lava Cable to mark@lavacable.com specifying which cable is defective. In most cases a replacement Lava Cable will be sent to the purchaser at Lava Cable's expense, or a an RMA will be issued for a return. Replacement cables will only be sent to name on receipt. Lava Cable will NOT send replacement cables without a copy of the sales receipt.

Lava Cable is NOT responsible for cable damage that is caused by user abuse or by the cable being used for what is not intended, such as an AC cord, jumper cable, use as a rope etc...

Warranty Exceptions: Warranty does NOT apply to any cable with Neutrik Silent plug added as option, or that has been self-repaired in any way.

Return Policy: Lava Cable is not responsible for, and will NOT accept return cables that are made per transaction on website and ordered incorrectly by purchaser - as an example: lengths miscalculated by customer. We also do not accept returns because cable does not “sound” as expected. All sales are final as they are custom made to order each time. All returns for warranty service require a Return Authorization (RA) number from Lava Cable and must include copy of receipt and note stating nature of service required. Warranty service ONLY applies to original purchaser and is non-transferrable. Warranty service returns sent without RA number, copy of receipt, and note will NOT be processed.
