Warranty does not cover defects that are the result of an accident, misuse, contact with solvent chemicals or malfunction caused by other audio equipment. This warranty excludes all incidental or consequential damages. Certain states prohibit the exclusion or limitation of consequential damages so the above limitation may not apply in some cases.
To obtain Warranty Service the cable must be returned at the purchaser's expense to place of purchase or mailed to Lava Cable. If this cannot be done, contact Lava Cable via phone or email stating the nature of the defect and date of purchase. Include information from a copy of your sales slip or receipt from Lava Cable. A replacement or repaired Lava Cable will be returned to the purchaser at Lava Cable's expense. Lava Cable will reimburse cost of shipping cable to Lava Cable when cable is returned after initiation of warranty service. This warranty provides specific rights: The purchaser may also have other legal rights that change from state to state.
Lava Cable is not responsible for cable damage that is caused by the cable being used for what is not intended, such as an AC cord, jumper cable, use as a rope etc...
Note: Lava Cable ALWAYS sides with the customer on warranty service and typically sends replacements in 1-2 days regardless of whether bad cable has been returned.
